Cartoon and Comic Adaptation

Cartoons have existed long before what we see on television or on the internet today. My little nephew discovered in school that the television has not always been with us. He came home asking how his grandparents survived without cartoons, since there was no television to watch them. He was however shocked that cartoon has existed on paper and was then reminded of his comics. Cartoons have like any other aspect of entertainment and art life has evolved over the years. While shopping in a comic shop that also has running gadgets on display, the owner spoke on his years of experience in the comic sales business. He said things have changed and that when he first started, people thought he was crazy. He is however happy that he did not listen to them then. Now, there are so many titles and his shop has become a household name in the city and beyond.
Besides the fact that titles have increased over the years, another notable progress in the comic industry is film adaptation. The success of some popular comics earned them a place in the motion pictures industry. The list of comics adapted into motion pictures is so long that one cannot possibly mention everything accurately. Some screen adaptations have even gone to become monster hits at the box office. Another one place where comics and cartoons have expanded to is the gaming industry. Many popular cartoons/comics have been adapted into various gaming formats. With more technological improvement coming, we can only wait patiently for other formats or platforms where comics and cartoons will be successfully adapted. Whatever they are, it sure promises to be exciting!
